Our Aims

We are a group of individuals who have been working together to improve the state of nature, through film, photography and radio. To extend our existing work we have started producing a documentary TV and online show about the people who live, work and enjoy the countryside. Connecting them with viewers who may be able to help in their work and raise awareness for the environment, wildlife and green spaces. We plan to run a series of crowdfunding campaigns across different locations in the UK and further afield, to allow us to take the show on the road and promote the nature in that area, along with a radio show and photography project on the same trips.

What we’ve achieved so far: The Pilot Episode/First Series

The initial pilot episode of The Peoples Countryside TV/Web show interviewed three guests across the Oxfordshire area – Chris Mason in Kirtlington, who works to help Swift conservation, Chris Peters of Wolvercote, who provides tours of the popular Port Meadow in Oxford and William Mankelow, a photographer who enjoys photographing wildlife and documenting the landscape for historical accuracy.

They discussed their occupations, their work with nature, the benefits they get from it, what they give back and what help they needed to make an even bigger impact on mother nature.
