Its 11 days since we made public the very first episode of The Peoples Countryside Podcast, as we are not just film/documentary makers.

The first episode of the podcast was with Pete Hughes from The Oxford Mail who was our special guest.

The idea during the podcast is to debate 3 tough environmental questions that faces humanity and planet earth.

Questions for debate during the first episode:

• How much effect do humans have on other animal’s survival? Are we causing more extinction than before?
• Is human existence always at a cost to nature and is talking about how bad the state of nature is really making a difference?
• Is eating animals bad for the environment?

We are hoping to take the podcast onto the stage in-front of a live audience, that will also include a photographic exhibition too, highlighting some key environmental issues we are facing. Through the staged version we hope to involve the audience during the performances, bringing in some of our filming and workshop aspects of our work.

We are editing together episode 2 of the podcast right now, which saw our guest being Martin Gibson from Earthly Gains. We are challenging ourselves and hopefully you through these debates.
